The Pub at Rookwood Mews

A couple of weeks ago my friend Leah and I decided to have a shopping day while the boys watched football. 

Before the shopping/game - we decided to grab some lunch at The Pub at Rookwood Mews.

I got the Fish & Chips - they looked delicious and I wanted to love it. Unfortunately the batter was too thick and not done all the way through. With that, the batter came off easily and was sort of goopy in between the cripsy outside and the thick white fish inside. I will say - the fish was delicious! For the second half of the fish - I just took the batter off and ate the fish - it was really great.

Then they offered Leah a to-go cup of her soda - she said "Sure!" They came back and said they ran out of to-go cups - so we had to walk around Rookwood with a kids cup.

Why Should You Go? Well if you like trying beers - it's a great place to go. They offer sampler flights and have a decent selection of bar food. They used to have these awesome battered mushrooms but they aren't on the menu anymore. :-( Everybody was fine with their food but nobody was too excited. It's a decent place and it gets pretty hoppin on the weekends.
