Restaurant Review & Giveaway: Rusty Bucket's Rotating Specials

My friends at Rusty Bucket are at it again - with a rotating menu of specials for the spring. I think they do a great job and have had good experiences at the Rookwood and Mason locations.

I went with a couple of girlfriends and they both ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It's HUGE and they both liked it a lot. Lauren ended up taking half home with her because it was so big!

I couldn't resist their Daily Special of Braised Pork Tacos. They have these Blue Plate Specials each day of the week and I never end up there on a Thursday - until now! The braised pork is slow roasted and served over beans with sides of guacamole, sour cream and salsa as well as warm flour tortillas.

These were AMAZING! The pork came right off the bone and it was extremely tender and juicy. Plus - the salt sprinkled on top - so good! Each pork shank made two tacos and was very filling. Everything was delicious and I totally cleaned my plate - even the radishes.

June 2 – 15: Roasted Chicken Salad

House mix greens, tender pulled roasted chicken, crumbled blue cheese, toasted pecans and sliced Braeburn apples tossed in Rusty Bucket’s double nickel dressing and topped with sliced red onion.

June 16 – 29: Blueberry Stack

Homemade blueberry bread pudding with a pecan streusel topping. Served warm with blueberry glaze, warm maple syrup and whipped cream.

Why Should You Go? Well - those Braised Pork Tacos were amazing! I think I'll be going back with a friend to share them so we have room for that Blueberry Stack. I'm seriously addicted to bread pudding. Service was great, food was delicious, it was a great lunch! And now - you have a chance to go for free!
