I visited
Midwest Best BBQ not too long ago - it's very close to my husband's work - so it's a great pit stop on the sporadic occasion when I pick him up from work. On that visit - I fell in love with the G-Funk wings - so I was excited to go back.
I walked in and was happy to see our new friends - the owners - when I walked in. I excitedly said, "Hey!!!!! I'm back!!!" And they greeted me by hanging their heads in shame. What? Why?
THEY WERE OUT OF WINGS!!!!
Oh this was some BS! No wings? But...but...I'm the Food Hussy and I need my G-Funk!
They decided I should try the ribs instead. Ugh - fine. I was like a spoiled four-year old with folded arms and a pouty face. But I was hungry dammit. So I got them and I can honestly say - they're delicious! I love that they were dry rubbed and not all saucy - I like dipping in sauce - to me the rub is the good part. But seriously - look at how meaty those ribs are?! I mean - have you seen ribs that meaty?
Larry got pulled pork - it's what he likes. It's good - this was juicier than the last time.
I got a side of macaroni & cheese and it was delicious! I really liked it and I'm super picky about my homemade macaroni. So all in all good stuff. I still like my G-Funk wings better but this is a good #2. If you're in the Milford area - you gotta check 'em out!
