I'm a sucker for new food products! I came across this Spice Islands Saute Sensations seasonings in oil and had to try it. I love Greek seasoning mixes.
I gathered everything I needed: boneless skinless chicken thighs, grape tomatoes, seasoning, feta and kalamata olives.
The seasoning smelled delectable - with scents of lemon, oregano, garlic and more wafting out of this little cup. It's very handy - albeit probably unnecessary - I could easily make a seasoning mix like this on my own - but after a long day of work - I was happy to have something basically ready to go for a quick dinner.
It's very easy to use - heat a pot - throw the seasoning blend in and once it's heated - add your chicken.
Cook the chicken thighs on both sides -
Then add your tomatoes and olives (you can also add onions - but I didn't have any)...
I had to have this "on" something - and didn't really think about that until it was almost done. Rice takes too long and I was out of pasta. (how does that happen?) So I went with what I had in the cupboard - TOP RAMEN! Hey - you gotta do what you gotta do!
Why Should You Buy It? Actually - it was REALLY good. It was quick and easy and took no time at all. I love Greek Chicken and this tasted great - even on my Top Ramen. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
All You Need:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
½ cup Kalamata olives, halved
½ cup feta cheese crumbles
All You Do:
Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Stir the seasoning and oil in the cup with a spoon to fully blend.
Pour the mixture into a warm skillet.
Add chicken and stir to coat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Add tomatoes and onion and continue to cook an additional 1-2 minutes, or until onions start to soften.
Remove from heat; stir in the olives. Top with cheese. Serve with pasta.
