They have delicious ham (bone in or out) as well as roasted turkey breast. I decided to try it out ahead of time to make sure we liked everything. I headed up to the HoneyBaked Ham store on Colerain across from Northgate Mall.
We chose the boneless HoneyBaked Half Ham. They also have a great array of Heat & Share Side dishes like:
- Stuffing
- Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- Sweet Potato Soufflé
- Green Bean Casserole
- Turkey Gravy
The Sweet Potato Souffle is their best seller - but it has eggs - so we went for the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the Green Bean Casserole. You just pop them out of the freezer and into the oven for an hour. Can't get much easier than that.
The ham was delicious - it has a thick brown sugar coating on the edge and is already spiral cut for you. The ham is so juicy - the dogs were sitting next to us - behaving perfectly and drooling of course. We did oblige and give them each a slice - they approved. :-)
And you have to have dessert - they have the seasonal pies like Pumpkin & Pecan. I've heard the Pecan is AMAZING! The sales assistant was telling me how much she loves it - but it has eggs too. So I went for their Dutch Apple Pie instead. They're made in Dayton so it's close by!
The pie was yummy! The crust was flaky and the apples were sweet - what more can you wish for!?!
